Another Nine, an indoor golf simulator brand, announced on September 1 that it is expanding its franchise across North Carolina, rolling out 14 new territories. This expansion follows the complete sale of the Charlotte Metro market, where 12 sites are currently in development. The first franchise location recently opened in Cornelius.

Matt Hess, who operates the Cornelius facility in the Lake Norman area, has plans for four additional sites within the greater Charlotte region. His five locations contribute to the 12-site build-out in Charlotte, making it the first sold-out market for the franchise network.

The new territories for Another Nine span various North Carolina cities, including Asheville, Winston-Salem, High Point, Greensboro, Graham, Chapel Hill, Durham, Cary, Holly Springs, Raleigh, Wake Forest, Greenville, Fayetteville, and Wilmington. The company noted that North Carolina’s business climate was a factor in its decision for statewide expansion.

Ethan Grob, Co-Founder and CEO of Another Nine, stated that the success in Cornelius demonstrated the effectiveness of their model with the right operator and community response. He added that the rapid sell-out in Charlotte indicates significant demand for the concept in North Carolina.

Another Nine facilities offer private simulator suites that are accessible 24/7. Guests can reserve a suite by the hour through the A9OS booking platform, with no membership required. The system utilizes Trackman-powered technology, providing access to over 350 courses and managing bookings, access, and guest support.

The company, which operates out of Cincinnati, emphasizes a small footprint and low overhead for its self-service indoor golf simulator facilities by not including a bar or restaurant. Guests use the online booking system for practice sessions, full rounds, small gatherings, and late-night play.
