ROCK HILL, S.C. — Winthrop volleyball stays home this weekend for a Big South pair, welcoming UNC Asheville on Friday and USC Upstate on Saturday at Winthrop Coliseum in Rock Hill.

Friday tip is set for 6 p.m. against the Bulldogs, with Saturday’s Upstate match listed for 4 p.m. Friday’s match streams on ESPN+.

The Eagles started conference play by beating Gardner-Webb, Charleston Southern, Presbyterian and Radford, then dropped a four-set match at High Point. Upstate comes in even at eight wins and eight losses, sitting 1-4 in league play after a home sweep of Charleston Southern and a four-set loss to Presbyterian.

The Spartans’ four-match road trip also stops at Gardner-Webb on Friday in Boiling Springs before Saturday’s visit. Outside hitter Summer Kohler paces Upstate with 231 kills at 3.73 per set.

Winthrop Coliseum seats about 6,100 and is the Eagles’ home floor for Big South volleyball.
