Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop baseball fans will need to make note of some schedule changes this week due to weather concerns and logistical adjustments. The Eagles were set to face off against Wofford on Tuesday at 6 p.m., but due to the weather forecast, the game has been rescheduled to 4 p.m. on the same day.
The Eagles were also slated to play a doubleheader against St. John’s on Saturday, starting at 12 and 3:30 p.m. respectively. However, there have been changes to this schedule as well. The game on Thursday at St. John’s in Queens, N.Y. will go ahead as planned at 3:00 p.m. On Friday, Winthrop will face St. John’s on a neutral field in Kingsport, N.Y. at 12:00 p.m. The series will then conclude on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Queens.
