Rock Hill, SC – Jesse Bosnak, a 37-year-old former United States Marine Corps sergeant, received a fully paid-for 2025 Toyota Cross from the Military Warriors Support Foundation as part of their Transportation4Heroes program. The presentation took place at a Rock Hill Toyota dealership, in collaboration with Wells Fargo, marking the first time this specific model has been awarded through the program.

The Military Warriors Support Foundation aims to assist veterans, particularly those who are combat-wounded or come from Gold Star families, by providing essential support and resources such as vehicles, financial mentoring, and educational assistance. Jesse Bosnak was selected for the vehicle award from a large pool of candidates, acknowledging his dedicated military service.

At an impressionable age of 15, Bosnak felt inspired to serve his country following the September 11 attacks in 2001. He made the choice to enlist in the military at just 17 years old, informing his mother of his decision to join the Marines. Bosnak served honorably in combat zones, specifically in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he sustained injuries during his deployments.

During his service, Bosnak earned numerous accolades, including a Purple Heart for injuries he sustained in Ramadi, Iraq, in 2006 when a rocket-propelled grenade struck him. He also received two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals with Combat “V” and two Combat Action Ribbons, reflecting his courage and commitment while serving in hostile environments. After completing his military service, he was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and was medically retired.

The new car is expected to play a vital role for the Bosnak family, which includes his wife, Marsha, and their two children, Aiden, 15, and Mackenzie, 13. The vehicle will assist in daily transportation needs and support Marsha in her pursuit of employment. The Bosnak family expressed their pride in Jesse’s accomplishments, with Mackenzie highlighting her father’s dedication to helping others as well as his deserving recognition.

Wells Fargo has been a strong supporter of veterans through the Military Warriors Support Foundation, providing 120 payment-free vehicles to combat-wounded veterans and Gold Star families. Wells Fargo’s auto and home lending CFO, Cory Tibbs, noted that many veterans participating in the foundation’s financial mentoring program have experienced a significant reduction in debt, averaging $44,000 per individual over the course of one year. The partnership with the Military Warriors Support Foundation exemplifies Wells Fargo’s commitment to aiding those who have served the nation.

This donation of a new vehicle signifies more than just transportation. It represents a step towards assisting veterans like Jesse Bosnak in transitioning back to civilian life, rebuilding their financial stability, and providing necessary support to their families. As the Bosnak family embarks on this new chapter with the 2025 Toyota Cross, the positive impact of community and private organizations on veterans’ lives becomes evident.
