Every year, York County comes alive for a fun-for-the-whole-family St. Patrick’s Day Festival! Several festivals across the country feature food and artisan exhibitors, amusement rides, live bands, a dog show, local talent, and more. There is no admission charge.
Fort Mill—Fort Mill hosts two annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities, giving you double the enjoyment! The Main Street Shamrock Jam, featuring a DJ, green beer, a leprechaun costume contest, and kid’s activities, will take place on Fort Mill’s Main Street. You may also explore over 100 merchants and live entertainment at Baxter Village’s annual Spring Festival & St. Patrick’s Day parade.
Old Town’s St. Patrick’s Day on Main Street Festival, which has been going on for over 15 years, features live music, beer, and cuisine from multiple food trucks! There’s also a play zone with activities and entertainment where kids can have fun, so there’s something for everyone!
Clover is a two-day yearly festival with a Friday kick-off event featuring live music, street food, and a beer garden! If that wasn’t enough, there’ll be a 5k run, a dog show, and more live music at Clover’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival downtown on Saturday!
While there may not be an official St. Patrick’s Day event in downtown York, several establishments offer traditional Irish meals, green attire for you and your dogs, and fun home decor!

Friends, neighbors, and festival-goers from all over the world gather in Rock Hill for the annual ode to Spring. This ten-day event has frogs, music, and fun in Rock Hill’s iconic Glencairn Garden and other locations throughout the city. This festival, which includes over 80 events and activities for the entire family, is not to be missed! Come-See-Me began as a community activity in the spring of 1962 to encourage tourists, family, and friends to visit.

A two-day citywide event in Rock Hill honoring the oldest celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. The celebration brings together all Americans to honor our common bond of freedom. Juneteenth is celebrated on June 19. The event will be celebrated on the weekend closest to June 19. Events will begin on Friday, with a free concert at Fountain Park and will continue on Saturday with a festival of various activities for the entire family at Mt. Prospect Baptist Church.

Cherry Place Farm is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays during the month of October. The farm’s two-acre corn maze and pumpkin patch are featured in the October festival, which is a self-guided tour. This is a family-friendly event, although the activities will appeal to people of all ages. At this time, no reservations are required, and friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. Each winter, the main streets of Rock Hill’s Old Town come alive as a gorgeous holiday town and outdoor walking art festival. There are approximately 70 events in Christmasville, including horse-drawn carriage rides, historic tours, performing arts, a gingerbread house contest, and a real ice skating rink, among others.
