High school sports across Fort Mill are beginning their late-August schedules this week, featuring cross-town scrimmages in volleyball and non-conference football games. Fort Mill High, Nation Ford High, and Catawba Ridge High schools are all participating in the early season action.
Catawba Ridge High School’s varsity football team will host Blythewood High School on August 21, 2026, at 7:30 PM. The junior varsity football team will have an away scrimmage against Blythewood High School on August 20, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The girls varsity golf team will play Indian Land High School at home at the Fort Mill Golf Club on August 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM. The coed varsity swim team will compete in the Northwestern Meet at the Rock Hill Aquatics Center on August 18, 2026. Girls varsity tennis will play Fort Mill High School away on August 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM. In volleyball, the girls junior varsity will have an away scrimmage against Fort Mill High School on August 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM, while the boys varsity will have a home scrimmage against Fort Mill High School at 5:30 PM. The girls varsity volleyball team will also have an away scrimmage against Fort Mill High School on August 20, 2026, at 6:15 PM. The coed varsity cross country team is scheduled for the South Meck XC Invitational on August 22, 2026.
