Rock Hill’s event calendar for spring and summer 2026 offers residents and visitors a range of community activities centered on Old Town’s walkable downtown corridor, with the Old Town Market, First Fridays, and a robust parks and recreation programming calendar drawing people to the city’s gathering spaces.

First Fridays Rock Hill launched its 2026 season on May 1, bringing the community together on the first Friday of each month for a free outdoor celebration along the Main Street corridor in Old Town. Live music, local vendors, food trucks, and art installations run from 5 to 9 p.m., according to Rock Hill Connection, which hosts the event listing. The events are open to all ages and have become one of Rock Hill’s signature recurring community events since their launch.

The Old Town Market, Rock Hill’s weekly farmers market, runs from late March through late November along the White Street corridor. The market operates every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., according to the Visit Rock Hill events calendar, offering locally grown produce, artisan goods, food vendors, and community programming. The market anchors Old Town’s Saturday morning community life and attracts shoppers from across Rock Hill and neighboring communities.

The Come-See-Me Festival, which holds its events each spring, continues as one of York County’s largest civic celebrations. The festival’s programming includes the Come-See-Me Barbeque Cook-Off, judged by the South Carolina Barbeque Association, which draws competitive pitmasters from across the region. A touch-a-truck event for children allows younger attendees to explore fire trucks, police vehicles, and other first responder equipment up close, according to the festival’s events page at comeseeme.org.

The York County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s events calendar at yorkcountychamber.com lists ongoing business networking events, chamber luncheons, and advocacy programming through the summer. The chamber serves nearly 700 businesses across the county and regularly hosts gatherings that bring together employers, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders.

Rock Hill’s parks system provides a year-round foundation for outdoor recreation. Cherry Park offers baseball fields, walking trails, and open green space accessible from the Cherry Road corridor. The Riverwalk development along the Catawba River features miles of multi-use trails, kayak launches, and the BMX Supercross Olympic training facility. Glencairn Garden, one of Rock Hill’s most distinctive attractions, offers formal gardens open to the public in spring and summer. Manchester Meadows and River Park round out the city’s park inventory.

The Rock Hill Sports and Event Center at Tech Park hosts amateur and youth sporting events throughout the year, drawing regional tournaments and competitions that bring families and teams from across the Carolinas. The facility’s flexible venue capacity makes it one of the Charlotte metro’s busiest amateur sports destinations.

Winthrop University’s campus programming adds to Rock Hill’s event calendar throughout the academic year. The university hosts public lectures, art exhibitions, theater productions, and sporting events at Founders Field and the Winthrop Coliseum. The Eagles’ baseball team has remaining home games scheduled for May 14-16 against Longwood at Founders Field, offering affordable outdoor entertainment for Rock Hill families.
