Rock Hill high school football fans can look forward to a local matchup as South Pointe High School is scheduled to host Nation Ford High School on Friday, August 28, 2026. This game is part of the second week of high school football action in the Charlotte region.
The South Pointe High School Stallions will compete against Nation Ford, with highlights from this and other regional games expected to be broadcast. The coverage is set to begin during the 11 p.m. newscast and continue on a live stream after 11:30 p.m.
Other games scheduled for the week include several matchups across the Charlotte metropolitan area. On Thursday, August 20, 2026, games included Monroe High School at West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, Independence High School at Corvian Community School in Charlotte, Julius Chambers High School at Hopewell High School in Huntersville, and East Mecklenburg High School at West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte. Additional Thursday games featured A.L. Brown High School at Concord High School in Concord, Central Cabarrus High School at Northwest Cabarrus High School in Concord, Community School of Davidson at South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, and South Point High School at Charlotte Latin School in Charlotte.
Friday’s schedule also includes Shelby High School at Crest High School in Boiling Springs, Butler High School at Statesville High School in Statesville, and St. Stephens High School at Bunker Hill High School in Claremont. Another local game for Rock Hill area residents will see Catawba Ridge High School at Fort Mill High School in Fort Mill.
