ROCK HILL, S.C. — Re:Build plans to expand its advanced composites manufacturing operations in Rock Hill, S.C., with an about $20 million investment expected to create 150 skilled manufacturing and engineering jobs, state and company officials announced.
The company is adding a new 130,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility at 2021 Williams Industrial Blvd. in Rock Hill. The plant will support growth in aerospace, defense and industrial markets. Operations are expected to come online in November 2026.
Re:Build designs, engineers and manufactures complex products for customers in medical, aerospace and defense, energy, electrification, robotics and automation, and environmental markets. It already operates a Rock Hill site among 12 locations across the United States.
The Coordinating Council for Economic Development awarded a $100,000 Set-Aside grant to York County to help with building improvement costs. Rock Hill Mayor John Gettys said the expansion at Legacy Park East strengthens the city’s manufacturing sector and creates new opportunities for residents.
Gov. Henry McMaster and Commerce Secretary Harry M. Lightsey III both praised the investment as a sign of South Carolina’s manufacturing strength. Company leaders said the expansion will give customers more capacity and speed as complex programs move into full-rate production. Hiring information is available through the company’s careers page.
