ROCK HILL, S.C. — Powerus Corporation, the Rock Hill-based defense technology company, revealed its Guardian-3 counter-drone interceptor this week at the Association of the United States Army’s 2026 Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C.
Guardian-3 is the third generation of the company’s Guardian interceptor family. Where Guardian-2 introduced semi-autonomous operation, Guardian-3 features a new design built for fully autonomous operation. The company said it will share technical details, including availability, at a later date.
Powerus made Rock Hill its U.S. headquarters after completing its merger with Aureus and beginning trading on Nasdaq under PUSA. The company develops military drones, autonomous aircraft and counter-drone systems for defense and critical infrastructure.
Powerus holds a competitively awarded U.S. Air Force contract for the Guardian-2 interceptor with a ceiling value of up to $90 million.
The Army exposition runs Oct. 12-14.
