Elsewhere in the Greater Rock Hill score group, Boiling Springs edged Rock Hill High 30-23 in overtime, according to the same Week 8 boards that carried the South Pointe result.

The Stallions’ comeback win capped a night of SCHSL football across York County as region races tightened with three or four weeks left in the regular season.
