Manchester Village sits in north-central Rock Hill near the I-77/Dave Lyle Blvd corridor, with community roads and retail tied to the Manchester Village Shopping Center and nearby Manchester Meadows on E. History
Manchester Village developed in the 2000s as a planned mixed-use district tied to the growth corridor along Dave Lyle Boulevard and I-77. Nearby Manchester Meadows, a 70-acre city park at 337 E. Mt Gallant Road, became one of the area’s main public anchors with trails, fields, a lake, and event space. The neighborhood’s history is therefore newer than Rock Hill’s mill districts and downtown core, and its identity comes from suburban-era retail, apartments, and townhomes rather than a single historic mill or railroad campus.
