This assessment, compiled on Monday, August 31, 2026, by a data analysis firm, utilized information from Niche, an online ranking platform.
Nation Ford High School, part of the Fort Mill School District, secured the 24th position statewide. It is a public school with an enrollment of 1,921 students and maintains a student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1. The school received an overall Niche grade of A.
Also from the Fort Mill School District, Catawba Ridge High School was ranked 8th in the state. This public school serves 1,704 students with a student-to-teacher ratio of 16:1. Catawba Ridge High School earned an A+ Niche grade.
The rankings from Niche are based on seven weighted factors, with academics forming the majority of the score. Other considerations include culture and diversity, sports, clubs and activities, available resources, and surveys from parents, teachers, and students.
