Location
Catawba Terrace sits in western Rock Hill, near the Catawba and downtown side of the city rather than the Lake Wylie edge. Realtor’s neighborhood page places it around the Richmond Drive / W. C. Sullivan / Northwestern school area, and the city’s REDI program says the neighborhood was the first target for its 2017 revitalization work. It is a short drive to downtown Rock Hill around Main Street and Caldwell Street, with easy access to the city’s west-side routes toward I-77 and US-21; the Catawba River is the main nearby water feature, while Manchester Creek is farther east.
Character
Catawba Terrace is an older Rock Hill neighborhood with a mix of small detached homes rather than large-lot subdivision housing.
